We're a mission-driven fintech startup focused on expanding access to financial services and building tools for financial inclusion. With strong backing and a passionate founding team, we're entering a critical growth phase and are looking for a part-time Creative Director to help bring our brand and product marketing efforts to life.
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Creative Director to lead the development and execution of brand and product marketing initiatives. You'll partner closely with our founders and cross-functional leadership team to activate key marketing channels, create compelling creative assets, and ensure brand consistency as we prepare to scale.
Remote, 20 hours/week. MUST have Figma. Financial services experience is a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
Lead Creative Direction:
- Own the visual and narrative expression of the brand across channels-balancing performance marketing with brand integrity.
Activate Marketing Channels:
- Oversee and support creative execution for direct mail campaigns, websites, landing pages, posters/flyers, and digital ads.
- Collaborate on social media creative, with a focus on cohesive brand storytelling (lower priority).
- Provide input on partnership creative to extend brand presence.
Product & Brand Marketing Strategy:
- Translate product value into compelling campaigns and messaging.
- Develop and refine performance-focused landing pages and display ads that drive engagement.
- Ensure all creative assets align with and elevate the brand experience.
Creative Operations & Execution:
- Build marketing capabilities through efficient asset creation processes.
- Maintain a high bar for design quality, usability, and clarity.
- Provide hands-on guidance and leadership across creative briefs, reviews, and feedback loops.
Strategic Partnership:
- Work directly with the founders and leadership to shape go-to-market strategy.
- Be a thought leader and sounding board for marketing judgment and creative decision-making.
Qualifications:
*Must have Figma experience, Figma is the primary design tool.
- 7+ years of experience in brand, creative, and/or product marketing roles.
- Proven experience in startup environments or high-growth, early-stage companies.
- Experience in fintech or mission-driven sectors is strongly preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing multi-channel campaign execution, with a balance of brand and performance marketing.
- Strong judgment, storytelling, and creative leadership skills.
- Comfortable operating independently and cross-functionally with founders and lean teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and lead without heavy structure.
